moving....

Sweet friends...
I must take a bit of a blogging break to officially move and get settled in our rental home
but you know I'll be back.
For those who may be new here, our family of six is moving out for six months
while renovating our home. Every single item needs to be out and although it has been stressful and exhausting, it's also been wonderful in many more ways.
We had too much "stuff"...stuff we haven't needed or used in years.
We're taking minimal with us to the rental house and it actually feels so good.
We have donated truckloads and that has felt good too.
Moving has stirred up so many memories.
Found my grandfather's pastels and his 1931 studio handbook full of detailed lettering and fonts.
Treasures I will explain in a future post.
Oh how I wish he were still alive to paint with me here and share in this artistic journey.

We found our wedding file...
hand-written letters from our grandmothers and parents
during our engagement and more from our wedding week.
Photos and newspaper clippings, baby pictures, and more.
I have successfully filled large rubbermaid containers
labeled for each child with their very own special keepsakes from birth up until today.
That feels good too, even though I wept as I organized it all.

We're beginning a new chapter and it feels right.
Ready to unlock this door and see what God has in store for us.

When you've hoped and dreamed of it for so long
and prayed over just about every detail I guess it should feel right.
Thanks for your patience while I am away
and if you are visiting here looking for Multiple Blessings
you can find my art locally here and here
or or if you are a sweet far-away visitor, you can find some of the items I have designed on-line:
here for the latest Tervis tumblers (more launching this June!!!
 here for technology skins
 here  for stone coasters
and here for lovely fabrics
and there are all sorts of Multiple Blessings' products floating around gift shops nationwide.
Remember to let me know when and where you see them.
Molly from Shelby, NC sent this in today....
the faith flag I designed in Sloan's memory was in the window of Victoria-Stephen specialty gifts.
Such a blessing to see that on display.
If you don't know the story behind this design, you can read that here.
I look forward to being back here with you in several days after I settle in a bit.
Blessings...xoxo
Caroline
