kindness and angels in the mail

oh my heavens!

Do you remember when I posted THIS on the blog? 

I was "over the moon" when I saw that someone had sewn angels using my fabrics.

Later that same day, I was contacted by this sweet lady 

who sells my Finally Free fabrics through her on-line store in the Czech Republic. 

Melina contacted the lady, who had bought the fabric from her and who had made the angels...

Melina told her about my blog post and my girls and

 do you know that she so kindly offered and insisted on making two for my twin girls. 

This sweet angel herself, Andrea, created these with her loving hands 

and shipped these precious items from across the world 

and the special package arrived today!

I don't think I have ever received a package quite like this. 

Everything was individually wrapped and tied with satin ribbon. 

And the hand-made card with fresh lavender (which smells glorious) was simply stunning!

She made this using scrapbook materials and this is an example 

of how much time and effort and love goes into a hand-made gift 

and how much it means to the recipient. 

wow!

These precious angels were waiting on their beds when they arrived home from school today 

and squeals of joy echoed down the hallway once they saw them. 

This one is for Sarah Grace...

 and this one is for Charlotte...

and these are two very excited girls holding their angels

which they will treasure forever.

and sweet Andrea even made a puffy heart for me 

which will hang prominently in my studio 

as a reminder of her kindness and generosity.

It's just amazing to have met new friends across the world 

through my work as a licensed artist.
