What a pleasure to finally meet Sue and Curt Todd, owners of Magnet Works.
It's amazing with technology today to be able to work together and "do business" for months
without ever meeting or seeing each other in person.
It really made it super emotional when we finally met..hugging and squealing like long lost friends.
I know, I know, I'm such an extrovert.
They did such a nice job creating a special space to share Sloan's story.
I felt waves of sadness and heartache then waves joy and gratitude as I witnessed it all.
It was amazing to meet customers who literally cried right there in the showroom
when they learned about this program
and their willingness to support the Sloan Chambers Fund was heartwarming.
I can't begin to say thank you enough to Magnet Works for allowing this to happen.
God's hand is so clearly evident in every detail.
Sue was especially touched by Sloan's story because her two brothers are battling illnesses...
cancer and leukemia and she knows first hand
how important research is and how hard this is on families.
Retailers who purchased the Faith collection were asking to have these signs in their stores
to share her story with their customers.
Oh praises for Sloan's incredible legacy and that her infectious smile on this photo
and her courageous story will continue to bless others battling pediatric cancer.
Here I am with sweet Anne Brown...who is the reason I was asked to partner with Magnet Works.
Her creativity and vision for this new collection is wonderful!
Thank you Anne!!!
They did such a great job with this window display-
showcasing the three artists they chose for
EXPRESSIONS...designs dedicated to faith, hope, and words to live by
Over the moon to have my products in the same window as Kelly Rae Roberts and Lisa Kaus
seriously...pinch me!
And how cute is this swing?
Makes me wish I were in a sundress and swinging away the summer
with a good book sipping lemonade?
ahhhhh.....
We stopped by their other showroom location too and met Debbie,
their super nice National Sales Manager.
So great to hear her enthusiasm about the Rooted in Faith collection.
so thrilled with the color and quality of their products...
which ones do you like best?
And to top it all off Magnet Works invited their artists who were in town
to come to a party especially for us to visit and celebrate and enjoy coffee and pie!
Yep, they had several amazing homemade pies from and Atlanta baker...
quite delicious to stop and have pie in the middle of the day!
Here is Mike, Sue and Curt's son, who also works for Magnet Works...he's serving up more yumminess.
So nice to visit with other artists...old and new.
And so nice of Magnet Works to host this event...
Thank you, thank you Magnet Works!
more Atlanta recap tomorrow...
Blessings,
Caroline
