Meet Lauren...

she's my wonderful new intern from Queens University here in Charlotte!

She's super smart, pretty, athletic (here on a basketball scholarship!), and so kind.

So grateful for her helping hands and we're excited to learn much from each other.

We had a full day in the studio today and I had the watercolors out...new paintings in progress.

Mixed media which recently sold....out the door to their new owners just in time for Christmas giving.

and I learned recently that pieces of this mixed media is being made into metal serving trays.
I saw the previews from Creative Co-Op recently and they are sooooo great.
It's been such a delight to work with this manufacturer.
You may remember from here, all those goodies will be launching in the summer of 2012.

and yes, those are vintage scrabble pieces spelling
