  1. Christmas commemorates the day of Christ's birth and reminds us of the grace, forgiveness, and hope that we enjoy as a direct result. It's amazing how the "simple" birth of Jesus has had such a profound affect on humanityand how the "Christmas spirit" transforms complete strangers into friends making us all a little kinder and smile a little brighter.

  8. My family loves the Christmas holidays. Our holidays begin by making Gingerbread Houses with our cousins on Thanksgiving Day. Followed by putting up our Christmas Tree(s) throughout the house and Lights outside Thanksgiving Weekend. And the children love couting down the days to Christmas by enjoying the Advent Calender's 24 chocolates til Christmas.
My husband and I love the sweet innocence and excitement our childen have for this season. They love to believe and appreciate the gifts God has given us.

  10. Caroline, A VERY VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I wish I were closer, I'd bake you a cake! I made Annie the prettiest cake of my life (of course the top did slide off after we'd cut the slices for all the party guests but oh well!) I will toast your specialness in New York in May instead... and for now, know that you are loved and cared for. Hope your day is a pure blessing. Birthday joy today, Caroline! Hugs from far away!!!

  11. Happy Happy Birthday! One of our favorite family traditions is when our own special elf named Circle visits us while we are at church on Christmas Eve. He leaves each of us a pair of pjs to wear that night and a special Christmas book. Such a treat to come home from church and find Circle's gifts awaiting us.

  12. Caroline...your blogs always make me stop and think (at least for a while) about these busy days and lives of all of us, reminding me that we should see God´s thoughts and "fingers" in whatever we do :). Many thanks for that as you spent so much time with your beautiful blogs to make us happier :). Thank you for this! :)

Happy Birthday to you! I believe this day is only about lots of love around you :)...

I just regret that I´m sooooo "out" as I do not have iphone, but this is not important - your designs are wonderful that´s for sure :)!

For Christmas traditions - what we love is to decorate the xmas tree with our little daughter on December 24th morning. And we get the gifts from "little Jesus" in the evening - earlier than you in US - wooowiiiieee :))) - kids usually try to see him, but he always only rings the bell and dissappears as the window is open for him to escape before we come into the room with the Xmas tree :))))....
Lovely time to all of you! :)

  13. Happy Birthday, Caroline. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I love Christmas for its a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus and a time for everyone to put aside their differences and celebrate the love we have for one another. It's also a time to be grateful for the many blessings God has given us. Thanks for having this giveaway.

  14. This is a great giveaway because one could always use a new iPad or iPhone cover. I'd love either one in any design. Have a great birthday and thank you for the giveaway.

  15. Hi Caroline. One of our family traditions is to attend mass as a family on Christmas Eve. Later we go to dinner at a nice restaurant and spend the evening together. Presents aren't given out or unwrapped until Christmas morning. Thanks for this special giveaway.

  16. I love these skins, I have seen others and thought that they were nice but nothing as special as these. I love all of the designs but the Bohemian Birds is my favourite.

  17. I would love to win this giveaway for my granddaughters, in the true meaning of Christmas, it is better to give than to receive.

  18. A family tradition since we moved to our small town, hundreds of miles away from where we grew up and established our first forty-plus years of traditions, is to bake cookies and take them to all the people in town who help us during the year: the vet, the utility company, the people at the post office. Now they expect it--last year our oven broke and there was no baking. For the last twelve months, a gentleman at the Post Office has good-naturedly heckled me about "where are the cookies?". It's good to know we are part of someone else's holiday routine.

  19. What I love most about Christmas are our traditions and the way they keep me connected to times gone by and people who are not here to share the holidays.

  20. Why would I love to win this giveaway? You mean besides "because your designs are so beautiful they fill my heart with joy?" I would love to win this so I could give it to my niece Brittnee. Her junior high world is filled with so many things that are not of quality or grace; I'd love to have her carry around a reminder of something beautiful and lasting.

  21. I love Christmas for the fact that it is the celebration of Jesus' birth.
