Trying my hand with a few contemporary pieces....and having fun playing with color palettes. 

I am calling this ...

Let There Be Light

because of this...

Genesis 1: 14-15

And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.

I love that verse and the details of it. 

We can be light too; I want to be light.

I want to shine like this metallic paint. 

Shining His goodness to people and in places and through my art.

I used this color palette...

I'm hanging onto this one for now...not sure I can part with it.

P.S. Thanks for all the advice on what to do with the sheet...

great ideas...everything from keep it "as is" to create tunics and pillows.

I was not planning to cut the 2 tablecloths so no worries there...

will just be enjoying those as they are.
