Oh I do hope you had a great Labor Day weekend.
We certainly did.
It was a mix of beach time and golf in various locations.
We had never done this before but we divided and conquered this weekend.
I had the girls with my parents on Edisto and it was super special.
My parents taught the girls how to throw a cast net and catch shrimp.
They were so excited to cook and eat what they caught.
great moments...
it's crab season too and these blue crabs are big and beautiful!
but dangerous! (silly girl)
and my mom's home made crab cakes are THE BEST ON EARTH.
Seriously, you'd never order them in a restaurant ever again.
The shag festival was happening there too and we had such fun at that too.
So many more pictures HERE
And David had the boys at my sister's for the weekend in Georgetown, SC.
William had boat time with cousins and his aunt and uncle
and David took Walker to play in the
National Junior Golf Tournament in Myrtle Beach.
They had some incredible golf moments together
including the practice round of their lives...great scores and special times.
Walker ended up winning the event and we are so thrilled for him.
He has worked so diligently this year and has improved his game so much.
Speaking of winners....
I can't pick a winner because no one entered yet...where are you guys????
guess everyone was busy this weekend.
I'll keep comments open another few days
in case you want to enter HERE for a chance to win the iphone Skinits.
Blessings on your week,
Caroline

Happy Day to you and your family!! Great news for Walker....we are proud of him! Love to you all! Love your skin-its...just make me smile! You brighten the world, Caroline! Ever consider running for president? :)
ReplyDeleteAlways one of the highlights of my day to read your log. Great time at family camp this weekend at camp Harrison. Gina
ReplyDeleteSo glad you have a lowcountry connection..enjoyed the pix of the weekend, shrimp, crabs, crabcakes. It's an incredible place and I can't imagine living anywhere else...we've been there since long beforeo Beth (Simmons) was born, although we do enjoy our vacation place in Ocean Drive...my husband and I both grew up about 18 miles from G'town. Can't wait to get some of your "happy" fabric to make a little girl's outfit for your website....
