I love my job.
Is it really a job when you absolutely love what you do?
Is it really a job when you absolutely love what you do?
Is it really a job when you are able to live your passion out loud?
Crazy, busy designing new art for a client
and planning products which will launch in the summer of 2012.
I look forward to sharing more of that with you this fall! (stay tuned, exciting stuff!)
Just got the word that two sold today so go scoop them up when you can!
But lately, I have been immersed in watercolor, gouache and acrylics.
Full of joy over here tinkering with color combinations and and pattern play
and hope you'll enjoy this tiny sneak peek into what will be on store shelves in several months.
This blue feathered friend chirps all day just outside my studio window
so I just had to paint her of course.
As I have mentioned before, I am constantly inspired by the little things around me.
Many times it's the children who are my source of inspiration, or they're the ones who notice it first.
"Mom, look! A bird lost its wing...come see this shiny feather. You should paint it, Mom!!!"
And this got me thinking...
sometimes we lose our wings too.
Our lost wings might be our relationships, our jobs, our loved ones, our health, our material things...
but sometimes we rediscover them later...and we soar even higher than before.
We might discover our new wings through faith, new friendships,
new relationships, new experiences, through courage or spoken Truth.
We've all lost our wings or feathers along the way.
Would love to hear some of your stories about rediscovering your wings if you're willing to share.
Blessings,
Caroline

um, i just love you! you are precious.
