love deeply

Have been thinking about the words
love deeply
Many times I am able to use scripture when I am designing products,
which of course I love.
On those occasions when I cannot, I try to at least incorporate inspirational text.
For years now, I have been working on a word document of my favorites scriptures,
which some of you have been kind enough to contribute to...
and
I also have a running list... pages and pages long
of my very favorite inspirational words and quotes.
So I have been thinking about these two simple words.
Simple, yet so powerful.
What comes to your mind when you hear these words?
Who or what do you love deeply?
Would love to hear from you.
Bu the way this mixed media was created on salvaged wood
and measures 5.25 x 13.5 and is ready to hang.

I was unable to comment on your blog this evening, but here’s what I‘d like to say about your “love deeply” post:

What comes to mind? “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength.” And loving my family with everything I’ve got. Caroline, I’ve not met you yet, but I want to thank you for loving my sweet sister-in-law Kate, and Sloan and Labron, throughout these difficult months. She is truly blessed to have a friend like you in her life.

    Fondly,
    Molly Brownlee

  2. Caroline, I just want to say that I know what it is like to be loved deeply by God and loved ones. I have been blessed enough to have been through trials to know that. Thanks for sharing your art with us and for sharing your love with me.
    Love, wallace

  3. I was watching a film my DH thought I might like to see tonight..that really touched me but not suprisingly, as he has a lovely sensitive heart. It turned out to be a really beautiful film about "relationships" and books and writing and connecting people across oceans by words and small and sometimes not so small, thoughtful gestures (not unlike blogging can be, though this was set mid last century and definitely pre-internet.)Things took longer and possibly meant more because they took longer. The heart-felt connections made strong bonds regardless of the miles (and made me cry!) This film illustrated to me how it is possible to love deeply. (The film was called 84 Charring Cross Rd by the way and I haven't quite finished watching it so can take time to savour it.)God bless you Caroline for speaking with your heart on important and rich subjects, like loving. I think this is a subject that could do with being examined in greater depth (no pun intended). To me your artwork has a simple but loving message of truth and beauty.
