let your light shine brightly

Yes this is a
HEART SHAPED SUNFLOWER!!!!
You are not dreaming.
I know, I know.....I was thrilled too!
oh my heavens!!!!
You cannot imagine how loudly I squealed when I noticed this at my friend's neighbor's home recently.
If I had been in a chair, I surely would have fallen out.
Seriously folks,  don't you just love it when we have our eyes open to see things like this.
To me, this is just another reminder of God's love for us.
Maybe it seems small, but I think it's grand....
grand that He thinks enough to blow us away with the details.
Oh, may we just
look up,
focus up.
Life is just better that way, don't you agree?
I was so inspired by the intricate details of these sunflowers.
If it had not been 102 degrees, I would have stayed all day studying them.
The kids were in awe too and it made me want to plant a few myself...maybe one day.
For now, our happy discovery inspired this new mixed media...
which is really was created for a client
but the original will be delivered HERE Friday.
It's big (24 x 24 x 1.5)
and it's for sale,
so head on over if you are nearby this weekend
and take a peek at my original pieces for sale.
And remember to...
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Do you love giant sunflowers as much as I do?
xoxo,
Caroline

  1. Oh, I think giant sunflowers are wonderful. I have tried planting some, but the neighborhood chipmunks like them better than I.
    LOVE the sunflower painting also!!!!

I tried and tried and tried again to post a comment...even tried to open anew account...still no luck. I'll just have to be thankful that I get your updates in my email and then respond this way.
This is what I tried to post this morning

That is truly amazing. I am constantly surprised by what I see even when I am not looking for it. He does work in concert with nature. I also believe that was there for a reason for someone special to see it, it's playing an important role in someone's life. Love your painting! :)

    Have a Grand Day!
    Smiles,
    Cheryl
