How do you give love?
Do you give it physically through hugs and kisses and pats on the back?
Do you give love emotionally with words of encouragement,
tender words of affection and affirmation?
Do you give love by giving gifts?
Do you give love to others by spending quality time with them?
Do you give love with your acts of service,
showing you care by your actions?
It maybe a combination of these but we all have a dominate love language.
Years ago I read this book.
It has helped me in so many ways and I really think I should read it again especially as we try and raise these four children in the "way they should go."
We also heard Gary Chapman speak years ago and if you haven't heard of this author,
I encourage you to look him up and buy this book.
My sweet friend Kate is living and breathing her faith out loud.
She is handing this trial with so much trust and faith
it is unimaginable to me what she is going through.
Last week she gave the ultimate love to her daughter.
After hours and days of retrieval,
she donated more than 9 million of her own stem cells to Sloan
for her bone marrow transplant.
Now it's waiting and praying for no rejection.
What an example of selfless love....giving of oneself to benefit another.
Go deliver love this week in whatever love language you feel in your heart.
Happy week!
xoxo,
Caroline
