Would love to have one of these for my iPad. They are so fun! I second the idea of adult art camp. :-)

stella
So cute! Your designs are so cheerful and bright... Makes me smile just seeing them.
Maybe you could do an art camp for adults - that would be so much fun!!!

Last week our family spent the entire week here.
We had incredible weather...thank you Lord!
Mom always brings fresh flowers from her garden which we all love...
We had amazing food....
like homemade caesar salad
Dad took the kids on the boat to drop the crab traps
and a day later they picked them up...
steamed shrimp and sausage...
Silver King corn.....yep...the best!!!
even my oldest prepared a yummy shrimp linguini
but mostly he played golf....LOTS of golf.
We made homemade pizzas...
grilled chicken, garlic and arugula
garlic, fresh basil and parmesan
We celebrated Father's Day and the kids gave daddy
  this.
We made homemade mixed berry sorbet one night
and cappuccino gelato the next.
It was amazing!
We had adventures too:
Charlotte lost a tooth on the very first night!
Unfortunately the Tooth Fairy got lost and we had to e-mail her the next morning.
Luckily she e-mailed back quickly letting Charlotte know that the room was really dark
and she couldn't see the pillow with the pocket
so she had accidentally dropped the money behind her bedside table.
Whew!
We played lots of games like...
which was hilarious!
And of course we had our 2011 Talent Show...
The girls designed the programs....you know I took paint!
We had everything from magic tricks to dancing to golf techniques to art and fashion.
I highly recommend family talent shows during the summer.
Great family tradition!
We even took a road trip to see Nan and Papa Joe's new house on Daniel Island.
They are calling it "the cottage" and we looooooove the cottage!

Our kids had time with their cousins
(we had my sister's 2 boys for a few days)
and even some friends from Charlotte happened to be there too...
and my littlest nephew can throw a perfect circle with the shrimp net
just like his daddy

the waves were super strong one day and the boys were able to ride them in with big smiles
discoveries were made by small hands and curious minds

then of course there was beach golf which I taught you last year HERE

crazy cousin time...
But also relaxing time...
Bike rides,
walks on the beach alone and with those I love,
exercise,
much needed sleep,
time to reflect
and
ponder God's goodness.
I was able to spend some time with my favorite camera and snapped color everywhere I could.
sometimes even the most basic things are beautiful...don't you agree?
especially at the beach.
xoxo,
Caroline
