It was one of those exciting days to be a licensed artist.
Yep, yesterday the doorbell rang 3 different times with 3 different deliveries.
I am getting to know these sweet delivery drivers and as I have mentioned before,
I am pretty sure they think I am a bit crazy.
Maybe they're right.
I usually squeal with joy (sometimes even scaring them because I am over the top excited)
and have even been known to hug a few of these fellas....
Well that either startles them with awkwardness
or
they just grin because they like making people smile with happy deliveries.
First up was the fabric samples from Robert Kaufman!
The collection is called
FINALLY FREE
I want to tell you the reason I named the collection this but that will have to be another blog post.
(stay tuned)
I was in happiness shock from all the deliveries yesterday that I didn't even get it out of the box until today. I waited on my sweet friend Lillian to come over and swoon with me.
We had such fun spreading it all out and even had some fun with the camera.
a stack of yummy color.
If you sew, please tell me what you would like to make out of my fabrics...
would looooove to hear from you!
It's completely surreal seeing my name and Multiple Blessings brand and my art printed on fabric.
A dream come true, really.
Some samples for my MacBook laptop and for my iphone
and for my (iPad that I do not have....on my wish list for the next Surtex)
and the folks at SKINIT were kind enough to send a few extras for a few give aways!!!
woo-hoo...stay tuned for that!
******************************************************
Then my 3rd happy delivery was from DEMDACO.
I really can't show you the samples yet but I pinky promise you they are fabulous...
full of color, inspirational text, and even scripture on many of the products.
They are meaningful, thoughtful, sentiment-driven gifts for many occasions.
I can't wait until this line launches....it's been a dream to work with DEMDACO!
SOOOOOOOOOO,
squeal with me and let me know what you think just from peeking here at the blog.
Will you come back for a few give aways?
What are you hoping for?
As always, I cannot thank you enough for your support, following, friendship and encouragement.
It means more than you know.
Thanks for joining me on this journey.
Gratefully,
Caroline

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Caroline! What beautiful, cheerful fabric! They all make me happy, but knowing who designed them makes me smile and strengthens my faith. You are truly blessed! Love you, Lynn
PS A girls room, a sun room or a porch would be lovely with these fabrics to me. Do they have a way to make it like sunbrella so it can stand up outdoors?
Ooooh, those colors make me SO happy. It's amazing what colors do to my spirit! Now, what would I make with your beautiful fabric? If I knew how, I would make a few Pottery Barn type 'Anywhere chairs'. They would be so cute in a bonus room or the kid's rooms. How about a bed skirt for my daughter and some matching pillows! A new table runner for my outside table. Chair cushions for my bistro chairs. How about framing 4 large pieces of 4 different patterns and hanging them on a bare wall. The ideas are endless........
ReplyDeleteBarbara said: Simply beautiful, beautiful!!! I'm a quilter so, of course, I would have to make a quilt from these lovely fabrics! When I buy quilt fabrics, I always like to read the name of the fabric company or name of the fabric collection. It's so exciting to see your name and Multiple Blessings on fabric and to say, "I know the designer." What a talented person you are and I'm so glad I know you!!!!! God is good!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is always inspiring, and I read it every morning. Thanks for helping brighten the days of so many of us!!
Barbara

I want sheets and pillow cases, then, curtains! What else? Fancy dresses as well, why not?? Or the pile of all the fabrics like in the 3rd picture!
I’m in love with the Finally Free collection you know, maybe not for the same reasons you’re gonna give us later, but when I see these designs, they bring warm and light inside of me.
Love!
