Sensational Spring!

This weekend I just grabbed the camera and shot a few images
to capture my most favorite time of the year.
Sensational Spring!
And doesn't this amazing dogwood bloom remind you
of the most poignant symbol this time of year?
I mean, come on...how clever of God to plan for these to bloom right now.
Our moss cross was out for Christmas but is back out again for Easter!
Our neighborhood is old and so we have mature trees and mature azaleas
which explode in color these first two weeks of April.
Goodness just waiting to pop!
and the feast of color is inspiring soooooo many new design collections
as I prepare for Surtex.
Despite our recent rains, even the wisteria is still beautiful.
And the eastern red bud trees are on fire with colorful blooms.
This shot taken near our church...
and the family tree has been decorated again too!
A beautiful weekend here in Charlotte...
a quick golf trip happened to Pinehurst with a few new purchases from the pro shop.
I think this 13 year old was happier about his new digs than shooting a 76.
and 2 baseball wins this weekend...
a happy, tired, dirty, thrilled, awesome group of boys and coaches!
Spring goodness all the way around.
Happy start to your week!
xoxo,
Caroline

  1. My dear friend Susan shared this with me...from STORY PEOPLE

Here's the Story of the Day:
    Joy of Spring
The birds brought seed & flowers & bits of brightly colored string & placed them in her hair while she slept so that she would remember the wild joy of spring when she finally awoke.
