Ted's 2nd chance...

Hopefully you have heard about Ted by now?

I love so much that he was overcome with emotion

and that he credited God for saving him and allowing this second chance.

Did you get to see his interview this morning on CBS

or the Today show?

I want to hear from the man who was the one to meet him, give him money 

and then come back and film him...hoping to give him another chance.

And then here is the video with his mother who we hasn't seen in over a decade.

Whatever happens with Ted, I am going to keep him in my prayers.
Maintaining sobriety must be challenging enough,
 but with instant fame it may be even more difficult.
The press is of course asking if we think You Tube or God saved Ted.
I think you already know what I believe, but I am saying it anyway.
I am certain God is the reason for Ted's second chance.
Did You Tube play an important role in his second chance? yes.
Did the Columbus Dispatch man who stopped and gave him money and discovered Ted's talent
play a key role too? yes.
God often reveals himself through others.
Ted was on the streets and gripped by addiction for many years.
He could have given up and thrown in the towel.
He could have said, "forget it, I give up, God does't care about me or love me"
...but he didn't.
Instead he prayed and remained faithful and thankful even when his most basic needs were met.
I love this story though and love that it may give others hope too,
The hope, mercy, forgiveness and goodness that only the Lord can restore.
