2011, we welcome you.
I am not sure what it is about a new year...it's kind of like spring cleaning.
We feel in a way like we can start with a clean slate, a brand new year full of new ideas,
new goals, new traditions, new memories to create.
And God is good like that too.
He allows us to begin each day with a brand spanin' new start...even if when we sin.
This Christmas was wonderful and I certainly hope yours was too.
We made so many memories here,
and the house was filled with family and friends...
and an overflowing array of delicious food
combined with noises of laughter and children squealing with questions of wonder
and sounds of pure enjoyment.
We had lots of home time and a tiny bit of travel here...
It was full of mental snapshots so precious,
even the best camera may not be able to completely capture.
But I continued to snap away, hoping I can remember what I felt
with every moment we laughed together, cried together
and hugged and played games.
One thing I realized this Christmas is that just being together is a gift.
A real gift.
I thought a lot about Elizabeth after we had a wonderful surprise visit here
by Mark on Christmas Eve day.
He continues to be such a fine example of faith and strength for their family.
It's difficult to make incredible memories alone.
It requires togetherness...
whether that be with family, friends, and even here with you,
my blog readers and Multiple Blessings' fans.
So I thank you again for your faithfulness and interest in what I do.
I feel so fortunate to do what I love and hope and pray that I honor God in using my talents.
I also strive to work with honest companies to design products which are uplifting and beautiful.
I work diligently in doing so feel so fortunate to have been blessed with success in 2010.
When I look back, especially at these photographs, I am astounded at what has happened in one year.
The time away was good and I was able to breathe and rest and renew.
My heart is filled with gratitude and excitement about what goodness this year might hold.
I know He already knows and so I will wait and watch it unfold with great joy and anticipation.
Snuggle up with those you love this winter
as we await the "blooming gorgeous" spring.
Remember this?
I wish you every bit of love and joy this new year too.
Thank you for joining me again for another year at
