EVERY season

We are covered in white here 

and have had a couple of fun snow days 

with loads of kids 

in and out 

and 

in and out

and 

in and out again.

More ice than snow now, but yesterday we managed to build this cute fella'...

I got out there and helped too

while memories from my own childhood snow days flooded back in. 

My snow angel below is all smiles in the frozen tundra.
This picture may be one of my all time favorites...
it just squeals childhood joy, don't you think?

We went on our winter wonderland field trip through the yard with the camera in tow

and I had several followers.

Our footprints show the flurry of activity 

even when weather tries to stop us from moving.

So very happy our recent intruder did not take my camera!

Before long it will be spring and our fellow birds will be nesting here...

but until then, I couldn't resist the snow covered bench showing off this intricate pattern...

color peeking out from behind the heavy snow...

and jack frost clinging to the largest tree on our property...

Although I am more of a spring/summer gal, 

I am convinced His beauty is in every single season. 

How can you miss it?...it's everywhere.

And I can't help but think of this song from Nichole Nordeman 

which is keeping me company in the studio these days.
