Botanica!

I found a special treasure recently at Botanica. 

It's my permanent replacement for our front door wreath 

and when it's not Christmas I will probably hang it in the den on the wall. 

I did add fresh nandina berries to it. Love it!

Have you been to Botanica? 

Bryan, the owner, has the most beautiful containers 

and he does a great job with each arrangement.

He uses dried, preserved materials, nothing fresh...which actually works well for me 

since I did not inherit my mother's incredible gardening skills. 

I cannot keep many plants alive. (sigh)

I guess I'd rather paint.

and he even has a few feathered friends in the shop...

Just wanted to share the beauty of Botanica. 

Bryan has one cross left now in the shop but he can make you one if you'd like. 

You don't even have to live here in Charlotte. He ships his creations all over the US.
