Fun Girlfriend Night!

Oh my heavens!
I have just returned from one of the most fun girlfriend nights ever!
Sweet friends joined me for a fabulous
EVENT at Mrs. Howard in Charlotte.
A few had to scoot out before this group photo was taken...
and for those of you who could not come, we missed you so very much!
The amazing Eddie Ross joined the incredible talented Phoebe Howard and spoke to us
about how to set a fabulous Thanksgiving table.
That's Jaithan to Eddie's left....drop dead gorgeous eyes
and Eddie's smile is contagious.
one word...stunning.
Notice the chocolate color candles at various heights...
notice the white pumpkins...actually orange ones but painted white,
then hollowed out and filled with oasis and gorgeous blooms.
and notice the vintage postcard...
The entire color scheme came from this vintage postcard they found yesterday
I think he said it was 5 cents, maybe.
They took it to the local Fed Ex Kinkos and made color copies
then headed to my favorite Michaels for glitter and other craft materials.
Simple glue and glitter and color copies of vintage postcards
backed with card stock to stand upright as a place card...
simple & brilliant!
And notice the material was from Hancock fabric no stitching...
just folded and creased with an iron to make three runners.

And, ahhh...the amazing flowers keeping in the same color palette.
Eddie made the napkin rings using faux acorns and painted them with gold glitter.
He used brown twine from Michaels to twist together with two small oak leaves
to make this inexpensive but beautiful napkin ring.
He used antique miniature ceramics and old salt dishes
for chocolates to nibble on between dinner and dessert.
He mixes old with new for an eclectic, fresh look.
Phoebe Howard has done an outstanding job with this place and
I am sure all of her other store locations.
It's the kind of place you walk in and love every single item.
every. single. thing.

It essentially was like a private cocktail party with them and we had a ball!

Then the girls headed to VIVACE for a delicious dinner
with lots of laughing and great conversation.
Thank you sweet friends for treating me to dinner.
So unexpected, so unnecessary, but so kind.
What a wonderful evening!
Let's do this again soon!
Thank you Eddie, Jaithan, & Phoebe!
xoxo,
C
