Sew Excited!

Well I've been waiting for a long time to officially share more licensing news. 

I am SEW EXCITED (pun intended)

to share that I am working with
Robert Kaufman Fabrics, 

a wonderful fabric manufacturer out of Los Angeles. 

*(I did not designs these! Just took a photo in Hancock Fabrics recently)

They have been wonderful to work with so far and we're really just beginning 

as they are still making decisions about which designs 

and how many patterns they will print next spring and summer when they launch. 

But the contract is signed and I am tickled pink 

that they plan to use my art on their gorgeous fabrics.

Not sure yet what types of fabrics they'll be on either...

they are known for their fabulous quilting fabrics 

but these will likely be on their cotton bolts 

as either novelty prints or fashion prints.

They sell to hundreds of independent fabric stores 

as well as Hancock Fabrics, Jo-Ann's and Hobby Lobby.

I won't know for a while where they'll be or which collections and designs they will ultimately print.
I do already know one collection they've chosen
and a couple of novelty prints but they are looking at other designs to add to the list.
I do promise to keep you posted. 

And all you sweet friends who sew
and want to make some samples for me for next May for Surtex,
you just let me know!

What gal doesn't adore fabric? 

I've been dreaming of this since I was a little girl

and remember vividly playing in Mom's fabric scraps 

trying to make my own Barbie clothes and accessories.

Thrilled and honored that I'll be among THIS list of designers.
