Well I am not a big TV fan and can't say that I ever watched an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, but he must be a great guy or they wouldn't have made an entire TV show called that! So you must know about my dear, dear friend Susan Tamme. Everybody loves her. Really, everybody who meets her loves her within minutes...no, actually seconds. I have never met anyone who exudes so much joy. One cannot help but be happy when around her. It's a crazy story how we met and it's too long to get into all the details but let's just say it was another one of those divine appointments I am most grateful for. We literally met in a trailer, yes a trailer... while waiting in line for parking and unloading assignments at Atlanta market in July of 2008.
Since we met, she has been to visit and stay with our family and my children adore her and I think they believe she is their other aunt. She came and spoke to the Divine Divas and shared her testimony and talked about how to have joy and gratitude in ALL circumstances. Susan left a well-paying corporate job several years ago in obedience to the Lord to do mission work. She is back from that now and she is writing books, she is a dynamic motivational and business speaker, she has written a movie (which will eventually be on the screen), she could be a life coach, she sings like an angel (my kids thought I could sing until she came to stay with us!), she stands at 6 feet tall with long, gorgeous hair (curly or straight) and she has a passion for sports, especially FOOTBALL! Her two nephews play football...one for Western Kentucky and the other for The Colts, yes as in this weekdend's Superbowl...the Indianapolis Colts!

Jacob Tamme is Susan's nephew and I have met sweet Jacob here in Charlotte when the played the Panthers. His darling wife, Allison made precious headbands for our girls (see below) even though I haven't met her yet...so sweet! Now don't you think they'll have beautiful children? Beautiful people, I tell you. Just found her cool blog about their Super Bowl experience...neat!
Ok, so Jacob, the kids made you these good luck signs and we hope you like them. You have lots of folks rooting for you and we know it will be super loud at the game, but you just might be able to listen carefully I bet and hear Susan screaming for you over the entire crowd. She is one of your biggest fans I believe and we are too! Go get 'em!
So now that you are all Colt's fans, back to Susan...Do you have a "Susan" in your life? If you don't, I highly recommend getting one. Having a "Susan" in your life is just plain good for the soul!
Love you SuSu...have fun at the Superbowl and text me with all the details!
xoxo,
Caroline
